Chick-fil-a is hosting a Back-to-School Bash on August 7th from 11 a.m., to 2 p.m., at the Clayton County Historic Courthouse, located at 121 South McDonough St., in Jonesboro. Read more about the Bash in the Clayton Daily News.
School supplies needed are:

• Wide ruled or college ruled notebook paper
• Spiral bound notebooks (8.5 x 11 inch)
• #2 pencils
• pens
• 24 count crayon packs
• Ream of copy paper (for the teachers)

Effective June 1, 2010:

• Youth Protection Training is required for all registered volunteers.
• New leaders are required to take Youth Protection Training before they submit their application for registration. The certificate of completion for this training must be submitted at the time application is made and before volunteer service with youth begins.
• Youth Protection Training must be taken every two years. If a volunteer’s Youth Protection Training record is not current at the time of recharter, the volunteer will not be reregistered.
