RECHARTER TIME AGAIN! NEW FEE INCREASE!
We will, again, have recharter done before the holidays so you guys don't have to worry about it and just enjoy the holidays with your families.
Yes, National BSA has raised the registration fee to $15.00 effective January 1, 2010. The Boys Life fee in unchanged as yet.
We are told it is to pay for the new "High Adventure" base in West Virginia and the new permanent home for the "National Jamboree" as we are losing the use of Ft. A P Hill.
How will this effect recharter?
1. The recharter fee for 2010 will be $15.00.
How will it effect School Night Recruiting?
1. If you only collect for the time until December 31st, use the old fee.
2. If you collect for the time until December 31st plus for 2010 use the following formula:
A. Calculate the fee until December 31st using the old fee.
B. Calculate the fee for 2010 at $15.00.
C. The total of the two will be what you charge plus Boys Life.
AS ALWAYS!! The Commissioner Staff is here to help you with recharter or any other problem you may have. We are your units best friend and we are here to help!
